What does it really mean to be abundant?

There is nothing wrong with wanting to make money. I think a lot of people in the so called “spiritual” community associate money with greed. But greed and money are two very different things. Greed is the need to feel validated by having more than another person. Money is a representation of value. What money means to you is dependent on your values. If in your mind you think money represents self worth, then you can easily judge yourself and other people’s worth based on how much money they have. The conditioning of our world equates worth with money. Greed is a logical effect of this mindset. The more money you have, the more worthy you are. Greed is the opposite of abundance because it is the perspective of lack- it’s an unconscious belief that there isn’t enough for everyone, that you are in competition, that you must take in order to survive. It is the reason why people are starving all over the world, why slavery is still prevalent, why we hoard our possessions, why we take resources from the planet with no regard of the consequences. When you feel empty inside, when you feel lack - you want to hold on to every possession and privilege for fear of who you would be without it.

Your Higher Self knows this way of thinking is an illusion. It’s so deeply embedded in the thought system of society it seems impossible to change it. But it’s not. It starts with remembering that you are abundant. You are the definition of abundance. You are eternal. You are the magnificent power of creation- nothing can take that away, nothing can lessen your power. When you see that in yourself you give to others wholeheartedly. Because there isn’t a limit to you so there isn’t a limit to what you can give. Give a smile, give a flower, give to charity, give a poem, give knowledge, give creativity, give your time, give a hug, give food, give clothes, give Love.

I read a statistic today that billionaires made enough money in 2017 to end extreme poverty in the world 7 times over. This is the result of the sickness of greed.

Walk around knowing that all of us- every person on this planet deserves abundance, peace and happiness because there is enough for everyone. So as you pursue your career, as you aim for “more”, do it with the intention of using it create an awakened world. Change your relationship and value of money as an enabler for a sustainable peaceful future. Demand it for yourself and demand it for your brothers and sisters all around the planet.

Self love isn’t something you achieve, it’s something you already have within you.

The truth is you’re amazing. Period. You were born perfect. You were born whole. Your life is a miracle. Maybe no one taught you that. Maybe you were taught to hide yourself. Maybe someone said or did something that made you question your own validity. So the awareness was lost. You forgot yourself. You forgot what you deserve. You forgot who you are.

Your worth isn’t what you do. Your worth isn’t how much you have. Your worth just is.

Nothing will change the gift that you are to the world.

Remind yourself every day. Remind yourself you have always been enough. Remind yourself you are a miracle.

Take that awareness into every action, every conversation, every thought. Take it with you wherever you go- at work, at home, on the bus, at the party, at your parent’s house, at your apartment. It’s your true home. It’s your inheritance.

Now is the time we all accept ourselves. Stop closing the door to your joy. Stop closing the door because someone told you you deserve less. Stop closing the door because you have made mistakes. Nothing from the past changes who you really are. The truth just is. Allow yourself to live in the Truth. You’re the only person who can accept it for yourself.

Why is it so hard to admit we were wrong?

You know those moments when someone hurts your feelings but won’t say sorry? It totally sucks right? It’s like you all you want is for them to acknowledge your feelings, to see where you are coming from, to feel some kind of remorse for being a jerk right? But they refuse. And then you fight back because you have to defend yourself too. And you say mean things to them because ya know they need to learn how it feels right? Fast forward 20 min later and you two are so in the thick of a back and forth argument, trading insults and hurtful words that “who started it” is no longer relevant. You both are angry and can’t seem to find a way out.

Or maybe you are in a political discussion. And someone accuses you of being insensitive, not acknowledging your privilege. How dare they, right? How dare they accuse you of ignorance? How dare they make assumptions about you? You’re so caught up in defending your character you are no longer hearing a word they say.

When we align with our Higher Selves- the love, compassion and wisdom within us- these situations lessen a great deal in our lives- not because we don’t have disagreements or conflicts but because we bring a different perspective to those moments, we bring the perspective of Love because we remember that that is the only purpose that matters. When we see through the vision of Love we automatically are able to acknowledge when we make mistakes because we have compassion for ourselves. We know we are only human and still have a lot to learn. We see the other person’s perspective and have compassion for their experience. We listen. We learn. We say the right things that will bring love and understanding to the conversation. Love also gives us the wisdom to walk away from an argument when peace isn’t possible within it.

Our Higher Selves want us to learn, to grow and to build unity with others. That’s our evolution, that’s our self actualization, that’s our higher consciousness.

The more we step into the shoes of our Higher Selves the more peaceful our personal and collective lives will be. What a great healing to the planet if world leaders would be able to admit when they made a mistake! It would be a game changer!!!

Remember we are all on this journey. We are all learning. Don’t judge the places you need healing. There isn’t one person on this planet who doesn’t make mistakes.

Lots of Love,

Bunny

Trust what lies ahead.

Our fearful thinking gets in the way of our happiness about literally everything- our relationships, our careers and especially our thoughts about the future. Fear masquerades itself as legitimate worry. You actually believe your anxiety is somehow preparing you for the inevitable. Your mind is imagining all kinds of negative future events- you are taken out of the present moment and experiencing a future nightmare. Your body reacts to the negative thoughts too. Your stomach hurts, you get a headache. Stress about something that isn’t actually happening is experienced in your mind and body like it is happening.

So how do you stop the worry? How do you plan things without being so attached to their outcomes?

The key is being mindful of your fearful thinking patterns. We spend our days having millions of different thoughts but rarely do we take a moment and consciously “look” at our thoughts. Building awareness of our thinking takes practice. That’s why people recommend meditation. It helps to build that muscle in the brain that detaches from identifying with your “thinking” mind to identifying to the “awareness” of your thinking.

Fear about the future has no purpose. It keeps you from enjoying your life now and sometimes even creates the negative experience you wanted to avoid by projecting its reality. And even if you do get what you always wanted, you will eventually worry about another future experience and soon forget to enjoy what you wanted before.

Trust what lies ahead because that trust serves your inner peace. It changes your vision to see the abundance of possibility. The Universe has a plan for you- but you need to trust it to see the its path.
